I see a star shining bright in the sky.
It looks so glorious within my eye.
A star from the north shining bright.
Guiding many riding by day and by night.
The star and its purpose is quite clear.
It shows the path that Jesus is near.
Shining across the distant sands.
Showing His glory in all the lands.
A Christmas Star is its name.
This is a story of why it came.
It was the guide for ones from afar.
These three kings that followed that star
and shepherds also come into that night
following that bright Christmas light.
Many others and even a drummer boy came.
To find out what was that glorious ones name.
The journey was so many miles to follow.
They found the love that was not hollow.
It came from Jesus Christ the Son
on that special night the Star had begun.
