Greenville Christmas
Greenville City Christmas lights.
Light up all that I see.
Oceans of darkened city nights,
with many a Christmas tree.
Sites seen from this sight of mine.
Viewing things oh so real.
Glowing showing Christmas time
gifts that hands can feel.
Meaning demeaning what it means.
The truth in some has died.
False meaning fills Christmas scenes.
The real Jesus is not inside.
Too many think only of getting
and not giving instead.
These things we keep on forgetting
are what makes Christmas dead.
Christmas needs to be in our heart.
Not living in a Greenville store.
Let the true meaning of Christmas start
and see how it can be so much more.
